This poem is for my daughter, and I wrote it. It’s Poetry dedicated to my dear Kiara as a gift for her 1st birthday.

Poem for Kiara, Happy Anniversary, my angel; I am so thankful you’re my daughter, and thank you for all the love.

Poem for a daughter

The day you were born,

The entire world stopped, and you’re the only one I saw,

You opened the door in me. The door I’ve once promised

to keep closed for long.

Because I was always protecting myself from the craziness of this world.

You arrived, and everything lit up,

Then I started to believe in love once again.

Since then, I’ve been a believer, and I started dreaming

we could have a better living world.

Since that day, I am always imagining rainbows, sunny days

and I see you, my dear daughter,

always dancing under that blaze.

Days go by, and I see you getting older;

It feels like I met you yesterday, my star.

Now looking at your eyes, I believe God decided to bless my life

and restore my very broken heart.

I cannot wait to hug Jesus and thank him for all he has done.

My Mission as a mommy started with you in my arms,

Sometimes I get scared of leaving you on your own,

I have been trying to find a way to be with you forever in this world.

So that I could protect you from every little thing.

Kiss you, hug you and stare into those beautiful eyes,

that is what makes me such a happy mom.

I wish I could stay until the end

but one day, God will take my soul back to him again.

Do not worry about that, my baby, because my love for you

does not have an end.

I love you more than a thousand moons together,

I love you to infinity and beyond.

The day when you won’t see my body on this planet anymore.

you might read this one and think you are alone,

but I promise you, my sweet angel, I will forever be by your side,

and everything is going to be alright.

Please promise me that you will not forget mommy’s love,

more importantly, you won’t forget how to shine.

Please, my baby, never stops seeing life as a stunning piece of art.

And this Poem is a small dedication for her to celebrate her first anniversary today.

I wanted to let my heart express my love for her.

In this second photo, Kiara already has 6 months, and this is the first time I have updated this post. Today, God gave me the sweetest girl in the world as a daughter.

I hope to continue sharing photos throughout the years, and soon I will come back to show you more.
